Analyst Calls Von Miller the Best 4-3 OLB

Over at Bleacher Report, Matt Miller is ranking the top players in the NFL through his 2013 B/R NFL 1,000 series.  On Monday, Miller ranked the top 4-3 outside linebackers.

Not surprisingly, Miller had Denver's Von Miller ranked as the No. 1 OLB in the league.

"Miller is the best of the best when it comes to NFL 4-3 outside linebackers. His ability to rush the quarterback, stop the run and drop back into coverage makes him a rare stud at the position," Matt Miller said of Von Miller (no relation).

Miller entered the NFL as the Broncos' second overall selection in the 2011 NFL Draft.  Since then, he has recorded 30 sacks while also dominating on run defense.

In B/R's rankings, Miller earned a 20-of-20 grade against the run, 20-of-20 as a rusher, and 40-of-40 as a tackler.  His coverage score was just a little lower, at 15-of-20.

Last week, B/R ranked cornerback Chris Harris as the No. 3 corner in the NFL.  Denver's defense looks to have a bright future with young stars including Miller and Harris leading the charge.
